LES BEAUX CHAPEAUX
With words and music by Alison Hedger. A really fun and colourful 30 min musical for beginners in French to develop their skills with spoken and sung French. Who could ever forget that fruit is feminine and vegetables are masculine, or not remember the names for these items after learning the Banana song? All manner of wonderful hats abound (sold in the market) and the musical ends with an energetic Finale where all the cast try on as many hats as possible! Alison sings all the character parts on the learning tracks of the CD to inspire young actors and actresses.

OO-LA-LA!
An entertaining musical in elementary French with music by Alison Hedger and words by Sheila Wainwright. Great tunes and a really fun way to consolidate and develop beginner’s French. Set in a baker’s shop and a café, the plot is light-hearted and humorous and follows the progress of an English tourist struggling with the French language. We meet all manner of colourful characters and enjoy some Can-Can inspired dance. There is no problem with audiences following the plot as everything is visually vibrant and often very funny.

A delightfully easy to stage fun musical for KS 1 and Lower KS2 children,

An excellent work to explore feelings and emotions with the moral that no one person is better than another. All have a special role to play and everyone working together is best. Ideal for learning in groups before coming together for whole cast rehearsals.
